reconcept: Successful project development in Finland
reconcept GmbH can look back on a pleasing year for its project development business in Finland. The transaction of an onshore wind power portfolio with six projects in the Finnish region of Northern Ostrobothnia and in Lapland was successfully completed in June of this year. The total output of the portfolio sold amounted to 1,200 megawatts (MW). Parallel to this milestone, the focus was on the targeted expansion of the existing project pipeline - and with success.
Tuulialfa Oy, the Finnish wind farm expert of the reconcept Group, has successfully joined the ranks of the ten leading project developers in the Finnish wind energy sector with its portfolio. The business approach is to develop wind energy projects to ready-to-build status and then sell them to institutional investors. The project portfolio is growing steadily. For example, a further lease agreement was recently signed in November for an area in the north-east of the country, which will enable the realization of a wind power project with an expected 800 MW. Tuulialfa Oy's total portfolio of wind farm projects currently amounts to a capacity of around 3,000 MW, which corresponds to an increase of over 15 percent compared to 2022.

We are currently examining the suitability of our wind farm areas for the development of regenerative hybrid systems: to this end, we are evaluating the extent to which it makes sense and is practicable to equip the free areas between the wind turbines with solar modules in Finland.
