With over 25 years of success in the field of renewable energies, the reconcept Group is one of the pioneers in this innovative field. Photovoltaic, wind, water and tidal power plants are realized in Germany, Finland and Canada. Most recently, the company has increasingly focused on the domestic market, where it has successfully driven forward project development with a focus on photovoltaics. The Group is now taking the next development step: reconcept's activities and reach are also to be further expanded on the international markets.
"At a time when global challenges such as climate change are making the need for sustainable developments more urgent than ever, we want to expand our field of activity: On the one hand, we are evaluating regions beyond the borders of Germany, Finland and Canada that offer the necessary framework conditions for solar and/or wind power and also a high level of investment security. This includes Chile, for example, where we are currently in final exploratory talks. On the other hand, we have been expanding the project pipeline on the Canadian market with our team from Toronto for several months," explains Karsten Reetz, owner of the reconcept Group.
reconcept's internationalization strategy will be based on several pillars, including expansion into selected international growth markets, partnerships with locally anchored organizations and companies and the introduction of new sustainable financing products.
In addition, wind and solar project development will play a key role in the process. "With regard to the Canadian market, this means that we are realizing greenfield projects in this segment - in Alberta we are already in final contract negotiations with greenfield owners. We are also advising and supporting First Nations communities in Ontario in the transition from fossil fuels to a green, self-sufficient energy supply. The focus here is on aspects such as community engagement and community capacity building. This holistically promotes sustainable local development - ecologically, economically and socially," says Knut Voigtländer, Managing Director of reconcept RE Canada LTD.
With its increased international focus, reconcept is making a further contribution to sustainable development in line with its English-language claim "Renewables. Today for Tomorrow", reconcept is making a further contribution to the global sustainability agenda.
